How the journey started
My writing journey began shortly after finishing my bachelor’s degree in philosophy. For years I had been writing, recording, and producing music, until my sister–also an author–suggested I try my hand at books. At first, it felt like an entirely different world. I couldn’t quite imagine how music could translate into storytelling, but I decided to give it a try.
Tempted by the promise of “if readers like it, you’ll be offered a contract,” I opened Word and started writing Makiya. Not long after, an email landed in my inbox: “We want to offer you a contract for your novel ‘Makiya’.”
That story–a fantasy isekai epic–went on to top the trending charts of Goodnovel.com and Meganovel.com. With each chapter, I discovered something incredible: people weren’t just reading my words; they were waiting for them. By the time Makiya reached 440,000 words, I marked it complete.
Then life intervened, and I stepped away for a time. But the spark never truly went out–it lingered, waiting to flare again.
When I returned to writing, I wanted something different. I wanted to hold my stories in my hands–something webnovels couldn’t give me. That desire led to The White Phoenix: Birth of an Angel, which landed on KDP’s homepage. Soon after came Godwalker: Ashes of Destiny, and then my ongoing passion project: the Mathsmagica series.
By then, I knew: writing wasn’t just something I did. It was the one thing that carried me through life’s harsher moments. It was my way of bringing characters to life and giving them their stories.
I already had a growing fanbase, and their excitement only confirmed what I felt deep down–this is my place. This is what I’m meant to do.
And I will keep writing. Because there are many more stories waiting to be told–and you deserve to know them.
