One day it started snowing… and it never stopped.
The world has been buried under endless snowfall for as long as anyone can remember. Humanity has adapted by building massive layered shelters, stacking new levels atop the old as the snow continues to rise. The wealthiest live on the uppermost layers, basking in artificial sunlight, while those below struggle in darkness and cold. Sol lives on the lowest inhabited layer. Nearly forgotten, the people rely on a dwindling source of energy–The Sun Catcher. A rare bio-mechanical device that absorbs and stores sunlight during the brief moments when the sky clears.
Sol is one of the few brave enough to venture to the surface, risking exposure and the ever-watchful cameras of the upper layers to capture sunlight for his people. But when one of his missions goes wrong, Sol and his team uncover a buried truth in the lowest levels—evidence that the upper layers have been hiding something critical about the world’s past… and its future.
As resources dwindle and tensions rise, Sol is faced with an impossible choice: stay hidden and ensure his people’s slow survival, or expose the truth and risk bringing the entire system—quite literally—crashing down.
Because in a world where the snow never stops falling, what happens when the weight of it all becomes too much to bear?
